Studio Etiquette 101: AKA How Not to Be That Person

This is your friendly reminder (with love!) that keeping the studio cute, calm, and drama-free takes all of us. So, whether it’s your 1st class or your 500th, here’s what you need to know.

Be Early, Not Rushed

Class starts on time. Doors close when the class begins—no exceptions. Give yourself at least 10 minutes to check in, grab props, and vibe out before we start moving.

Leave the Late Night Texts Outside

Phones, bags, and personal items stay out of the studio space. You’ll survive an hour without your group chat. This helps maintain a centred mind and a peaceful room. Phones are allowed in the reformer classes, but please, please, please, don’t bring your phone into a yoga class!

Keep It Fresh

Please show up clean, wear deodorant, and wipe down your mat and equipment after class. You’re glowing—we love that. Just try not to leave your sparkle (smell or sweat) behind!

Grip SOCKS ARE A MUST!

Reformer folks: grip socks are mandatory. They’re cute and they keep you from slipping. If you forget yours, the front desk has your back (and your feet).

No Handstands at the Mirror—Seriously

This one’s a safety thing. Bouncing your feet off the mirror? Hard no. We want you flying high, but not into the emergency room. Practice those handstands, but please do it against the wall and not the mirrors! Aside from it being risky, it’s also just really annoying for our staff to clean!

Shhhh…

The studio is a quiet zone. Please keep convos in the lobby and enter class in silence. We’re protecting the sacred chill. Please speak up if you have questions for your instructor but keep the rest of the talks for outside the practice rooms!

Respect the Spot

If you’re booked and can’t make it, cancel in advance. Last-minute flake? That’s a $15 fee (and you might lose a credit). Five grace cancels a year—we’re generous, not pushovers.

No Shoes, No Stress

Shoes come off at the door. Lockers are your friend—just don’t leave your stuff in them overnight.

Take Two Towels, Max

You get two towels per visit. Need more? It’s $2, or BYO fluffy friend. This helps us keep friendly with the environment. In the past we’ve seen people take towels and never use them – these still need to be washed! Help us keep laundry to a minimum when possible and only take what you need.

Policy Real Talk

Above All, Be Kind

No harassment. No weird vibes. Just respect for your teachers, your fellow classmates, and the space.
