Terms of Service

OVERVIEW

This agreement outlines the terms and conditions governing your access to and use of IAM Studio’s website and digital properties, including all related websites and apps (mobile, tablet, smartwatch, etc.) (collectively, the “Site”). These properties are operated by IAM Studio and its affiliates or subsidiaries (collectively referred to as “IAM,” “we,” “us,” or “our“).

By using the Site or any features, services, or content provided through the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms” or “Agreement”). This includes any additional terms and policies referenced or available by hyperlink. These Terms form a binding contract between you and IAM Studio.

These Terms apply to all users of the Site, including but not limited to browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, or content contributors.

Please review these Terms carefully before accessing or using the Site. You are only authorized to use IAM Studio’s services if you agree to comply with all applicable laws and the Terms of Service. By accessing or using the Site in any manner, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these terms, please leave the Site and cease using IAM Studio services.

Any new features or tools added to the Site will also be governed by these Terms. You can review the most up-to-date version of these Terms at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update or change these Terms by posting updates on the Site. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

Accounts

To access certain features of the website, you must create an IAM Studio account. You may not use another person’s account without their permission. When creating your account, ensure that all information is accurate and complete. You are solely responsible for all activities under your account and must keep your password secure. Notify us immediately of any security breaches or unauthorized use of your account. Duplicate accounts with the same name, email, phone number, or physical address are strictly prohibited, and IAM Studio reserves the right to merge these accounts without prior notice. If duplicate accounts are used to gain access to promotions or offers, the full value of services received will be charged without warning.

Reformer Pilates Studio Terms and Conditions

Reformer Class Participation Waiver
By purchasing and participating in Reformer Pilates classes, you agree to sign the waiver below:

  • Acknowledge the risks involved, including injury and property damage.
  • Assume all risks and voluntarily participate with full awareness of potential dangers.
  • Confirm you are in good health and have no conditions impairing participation. If pregnant, consult your doctor before participating.
  • Understand the services are for general health and fitness information and not a substitute for professional medical advice.
  • Agree to stop immediately if you experience dizziness, pain, or difficulty breathing during class.
  • Pledge to follow instructors’ directions and adhere to all rules and policies.
  • Release IAM YOGA PILATES, its employees, contractors, and affiliates from liability for any injury or property damage arising from participation.

Member Services and Policies

Cancellation Policy

  • Credit Memberships: A $15 fee and a credit loss apply for late cancellations (within 12 hours) or no-shows.
  • Unlimited Memberships: A $15 fee applies for late cancellations (within 12 hours) or no-shows.
  • Credit Packages: Cancel at least 12 hours before class to retain the credit. Late cancellations or no-shows forfeit the credit.
  • Cancellations must be made via the website or app; email cancellations are not accepted.
  • Clients may receive up to 5 grace cancellations per year. These must be requested before the class begins by contacting us. Retroactive cancellations are not allowed.

Reservations
You must arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled class, or your spot may be offered to someone on the waitlist.

Waitlist
If a class is full, add yourself to the waitlist. If a spot opens, the first person on the list will be automatically added and notified by email.

Freezing Unlimited Monthly Yoga Membership
Members with the $159 auto-renew package may freeze their membership annually for 3 weeks to 2 months per freeze. Requests must be made in writing via email.

Grip Socks
Grip socks are required for use on the reformer machines to ensure safety and hygiene.

Personal Belongings
IAM Studio is not responsible for the safekeeping of your personal belongings. You assume all risks of loss for any items you bring.

Pass Expiry and Upgrade Policy
All passes have an expiry period. Passes may be upgraded for an additional three months for a fee of $50 plus tax in emergencies. Current passes cannot be extended, only upgraded.

Late Arrival Policy
Arriving late may result in losing your reserved spot if there are people on the waitlist. Classes start on time, and late entry is not permitted once the door is closed.

Silent Practice Rooms & Studio
Our practice rooms are quiet spaces. Personal belongings, including bags and cell phones, should be left in common areas. Please be respectful and refrain from talking in the practice room.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Services:

  • For unlawful purposes or in a way that violates any laws or regulations.
  • To restrict or inhibit others’ use of the Services.
  • For commercial purposes or in any manner that could damage or overburden the digital properties.
  • To introduce harmful materials or solicit others for commercial purposes.
  • To interfere with the functioning of the Services in any way.

Behavior

IAM Studio promotes a healthy, respectful environment and does not tolerate harassment or discrimination. We expect members to show respect for each other and staff.

Non-Harassment Policy
IAM Studio does not tolerate unwelcome or offensive conduct. If you experience harassment, report it to info@iamyoga.ca with detailed information about the incident.

Limitation of Liability

By creating an account or using IAM Studio’s services, you acknowledge the inherent risks of physical exercise. You release IAM Studio from responsibility for any injury or damages incurred while using the studio’s services and assume full responsibility for any injuries or accidents. IAM Studio recommends consulting a physician before participating in any exercise program.

Student Waiver
By agreeing to these Terms, you accept the conditions outlined in the Student Waiver. You release IAM Studio from liability for personal injury, property damage, or death resulting from participation.

Accessing the Services and Account Security

To use the Services, you must provide accurate, up-to-date information. Failure to do so may result in the termination of your access.

Copyright

All content on the IAM Studio website is owned by or licensed to IAM YOGA PILATES and is protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without prior written consent.

Mobile Services

IAM Studio offers mobile features that may include booking, purchasing, and receiving messages via your mobile phone. Carrier rates may apply. Check with your carrier for any restrictions or fees.

Service Interruptions

Services may be suspended temporarily due to security concerns, maintenance, or system failures. IAM Studio is not responsible for refunds during these interruptions.

Termination

IAM Studio reserves the right to terminate your access to the site at any time, with or without cause, leading to the forfeiture of your account information.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

Term

These Terms remain in effect as long as you use IAM Studio’s Services or maintain your membership. You may terminate your membership at any time.
