Reformer Pilates Instructor – STOTT / Classical (Merrithew)

Position: Reformer Pilates Instructor
Type: Contract / Part-time / Full-time (as applicable)

Job Description:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and confident Reformer Pilates Instructor with training in STOTT Pilates or Classical Pilates, and hands-on experience using Merrithew reformer machines. The ideal candidate is comfortable teaching group reformer classes and delivers safe, effective, and engaging sessions for clients of varying levels.

Requirements:

• Certification in STOTT Pilates or Classical Pilates
• Minimum Level 1 Reformer certification completed (or equivalent)
• Proven experience teaching group Reformer classes
• Strong knowledge of Merrithew equipment and settings
• Ability to modify exercises for different levels and injuries
• Professional, reliable, and client-focused teaching style
• Strong communication and cueing skills

Responsibilities:

• Teach group Reformer Pilates classes using Merrithew equipment
• Provide clear instructions, hands-on corrections, and modifications
• Ensure safe use of equipment and proper class flow
• Create a positive, motivating, and inclusive class environment
• Maintain studio standards and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional Pilates certifications
• Experience with private or semi-private sessions
• Background in anatomy or movement education
